22nd International Die Casting Congress & Exposition
Booth #248, MagCasTec below:

The NADCA 22nd International Die Casting Congress & Exposition was a fun and rewarding experience.
Not only did we have the pleasure of meeting many new potential clients, it was a great opportunity to talk with a lot of old friends.
We also took this opportunity to listen to many concerns from the people who run the machines. I expected the NADCA show to attract people who "get their hands dirty," and I was not disappointed. We were able to learn several things that will further enhance the benefits of our products.
Our new BarHot™ (patent pending) ingot warmer was advertised for the first time anywhere. Only limited pictures were available since it is so new. Plenty more information about this exciting new money saving device will be available soon.
We were also lucky enough to get some great "booth neighbors." On one side we had Jerry Stenger from Mechanical Finishing Inc. of Cincinnati, a debur/finishing company. The other side was LMI Controls, a shot monitoring company. The people on both sides of us as well as those across the aisle from us helped to make it an enjoyable experience.
Indianapolis is an excellent location. Every time I have visited Indianapolis it has been great. The traffic is not bad, the people are nice and there is plenty to see and do downtown. All the major hotels can be found downtown, including the Westin where we slept comfortably on their "Heavenly Bed."
In the mornings, it was excellent to run along the beautiful scenic Indianapolis Canal Walk that winds through the White River State Park. Just as unusual as the state park located downtown is the tranquility offered by the canal. Several fountains and waterfalls along the walk helped make it even more interesting.
All in all we had a great time.
